Goldendoodle Paulie training to be a service dog with My Canine Companion
Pete was joined on Instagram live by Petfix member Ciara last night with a very special story.
Last August, Ciara’s family, specifically her son Joshua was delighted to bring Paulie the Goldendoodle into their home as a 12-week old puppy. Paulie was not just any puppy, but a very special dog that was going to be trained to be Joshua’s service dog.
Ciara joined Pete on Instagram Live to explain how the last few months have been, with monthly training sessions, getting to know Paulie and watching the relationship blossom between Paulie and the entire family.
My Canine Companion
Paulie came to Ciara and her family through My Canine Companion, who provide accredited service dogs to people with disabilities, predominantly autism. In addition, they provide a range of therapy dog services and autism awareness programmes.
Their mission is: “To enhance the quality of life for people with difficulties predominately autism through the provision of highly qualified service dogs”.
Watch this incredible story unfold and learn about all of the incredible work carried out by My Canine Companion, and everyone involved.
