Should I tell the vet my cat gets sick food?

Q

My cat tends to bolt down dry food biscuits, then regurgitate them. This happens at least once a week. Do I need to go to the vet?

A

It’s never normal for a cat to be sick, so a check by your vet makes sense. Having said that, if cats eat too much dry food at once, it tends to swell in the stomach which can sometimes cause regurgitation. So try giving smaller amounts of food, more often. If this doesn’t solve the problem, the vet is definitely needed.
