My dog keeps licking her feet, making them sore. It used to happen just in the summer but now it’s all year round.

Itchy feet- technically known as “pododermatitis” – is a common problem in dogs, and there are many possible causes, from allergies to mites to immune-type problems. The best answer is to visit the vet with your dog, and they may even recommend a referral to a specialist skin vet. Sometimes a one-off treatment is enough to cure the problem, while in other cases, ongoing long term medication is needed to control the itchiness.
